For numbers to appear in the Insights section, a few things need to come together. The most important thing up front: without connected social accounts there are no statistics – that's not a bug, it's expected.
What you need
- The Social Connect add-on: Insights are part of the paid Social Connect add-on and aren't included in the free plan. To learn how to book it, see Booking add-ons.
- At least one connected account: Only once an account like Instagram, TikTok or YouTube is connected can maebe fetch numbers. See Connecting social accounts.
- Published posts: Statistics are only created for posts that are actually live on the platform. Plain drafts, or approved but not yet published posts, won't appear.
Why my insights section is empty
If you don't see anything, it's usually down to one of these:
- No account is connected yet. This is the most common reason.
- The account was only just connected – the first numbers take a moment to be fetched.
- There are no published posts yet on the connected account.
In all of these cases nothing is broken – as soon as the connection is in place and posts are live, the section fills up on its own.
Note: How many accounts you can connect, and how often numbers are updated, depends on the tier of your Social Connect add-on that you've booked.
What you won't find in insights
Some analytics simply aren't provided by the platforms. These include things like detailed audience data (age, region) or a recommended best posting time. maebe only shows what the platforms reliably provide.
Where to go next
Once everything's in place, get up to speed under Understanding statistics. For the connection itself, head to Connecting social accounts.
