Invitations & approval tasks

Accept team invitations and keep an eye on open approvals from several teams in one place.

Approx. 2 min read

Two things often need a quick reaction from you: an invitation to a team and an open approval. Both are built into maebe so you don't have to go looking for them.

Team invitations

When someone invites you to a team, you get a notification โ€“ usually by email as well. The link in the invitation takes you to where you accept it:

  • Accept โ€“ you become a member and from now on see this team's projects and posts in your sidebar.
  • Decline โ€“ the invitation expires, and no one gets access to your data.

As soon as you've joined, the team is notified. What role you have in the new team โ€“ that is, what you're allowed to see and do โ€“ is explained in Roles & permissions. How to invite someone yourself is covered under Inviting members.

The approval inbox

If you approve posts across several teams, you don't want to check each team separately for what's waiting on you. That's why maebe gathers all your open approval tasks in one central place โ€“ your approval inbox.

There, across all teams, you see:

  • which posts are currently waiting for your approval,
  • which team and project they come from,
  • and you jump straight into the relevant post with one click.

This way you work through one approval after another, without constantly switching teams. Urgent approval updates also show up in the post alerts of the relevant team.

Tip: If you approve internally โ€“ that is, as a logged-in team member rather than through an external link โ€“ you'll find all the details under Internal approval.
