Support chat & requests

Help right in the chat – the maebe assistant answers instantly, and the team takes over your request whenever needed.

Approx. 2 min read

In the bottom right corner of maebe.app – and in the app as well – you'll find the support bubble. One click opens a chat with the maebe assistant: it knows the entire help center and answers most questions instantly, around the clock.

Open in the app: Support requests All your conversations with the maebe team · login required

How the chat works

  • Just ask away – in English or German, phrased however you like.
  • The assistant replies within a few seconds and links matching help articles for further reading.
  • You don't need an account – the chat is open to visitors too.

Note: The assistant has no access to your account or your data. For anything that concerns your specific account (e.g. invoices or technical issues), it hands you over to the team.

Handing over to the team

If the assistant can't help – or you'd rather talk to a human – the chat turns into a request to the maebe team:

  • Click "Hand over to the team" in the chat. The assistant also suggests this itself whenever it can't answer a question reliably.
  • As a visitor without an account you provide your email address once – it's the only way we can get back to you.
  • The team replies by email. The link in the email takes you straight back into the conversation, where you can simply keep writing.

Your requests at a glance

With a maebe account you'll find all your requests under Account → Support. Each request shows its status:

  • In progress – your request is with the team.
  • Answered – the team has replied; as soon as you write back, it returns to the team.
  • Resolved – your issue is settled. Still something open? Just reply and the request reopens.
  • Closed – the conversation has ended. For a new issue, simply start a new chat via the bubble.

You receive an email for every reply and every status change – so you won't miss anything, even when maebe isn't open.
