Once you've found the best shots in the media pool, you can turn them straight into a post. maebe creates the post in a project of your choice and brings in the selected images and videos – ready to keep working on.
How it works
- Open the media pool from the sidebar.
- Select the items you want by tapping them. A bar at the bottom shows how many you've marked.
- Click Create post.
- Choose the project where the new post should land.
- Confirm – maebe creates the post and opens it right in the editor.
After that you can add the caption, platform and date as usual. To learn how, see Creating a post.
Adding to an existing post
Sometimes you don't want a brand-new post – you want to add material to one you're already working on. It works the same way:
- Select the items you want in the pool.
- In the bar at the bottom, click Add to post.
- Pick the project first, then the target post – eligible posts appear as small cards with a preview image.
- Confirm with Add – maebe copies the media to the end of the post.
Note: If maebe finds no eligible post in the chosen project, you'll get a brief notice. In that case, create a new one via Create post.
Here too the files are copied, not moved – the pool stays untouched.
What happens to your files
Good to know: the selected files are copied into the new post, not moved.
- The pool stays unchanged – all items and their ratings are still there.
- So you can use the same shots in other posts too.
- If you delete the pool later, posts you've already created stay untouched.
Tip: Filter by 🟢 green before you create, and you'll mark exactly the approved shots in one go. To learn how the traffic light works, read Rating assets.
Order
maebe keeps the order in which you click the items as the order in the post. So click them in the order you want – but you can always rearrange them in the editor later.
