Connect maebe to Claude

Step by step: set maebe up as a connector in Claude and work with your real projects right in the chat.

The AI connector links Claude directly to your maebe team. After that, Claude knows your projects, posts, media pools and figures — without you copying anything across.

Before you start

  • The AI connector is available from the Pro plan.
  • An admin or owner of your team enables it for you: Team → Members → the spark icon next to the member.
  • You'll need maebe's server address:
https://mcp.maebe.app/mcp

You can find it any time in maebe under MCP server in the navigation, where one click copies it.

Connecting Claude

  1. Open Claude in your browser and go to Settings.
  2. Choose the Connectors section.
  3. Click Add connector and then the option to add a custom connector.
  4. Enter the address https://mcp.maebe.app/mcp and confirm.
  5. Claude sends you over to maebe. Sign in there as usual.
  6. You'll see which areas Claude may access (posts, pools, insights …). Confirm with Connect.
  7. Done — Claude jumps back and the connector is live.

Trying it out

Just ask something in the chat, for example:

  • "What's on my content plan this week?"
  • "How did last month go?"
  • "Draft me a post for Friday about the autumn campaign."

Claude asks for permission the first time it uses the connector. For anything that changes something, it asks every time.

What Claude may and may not do

Claude sees and can do exactly what you're allowed to do in maebe — no more. Creating drafts and submitting them for approval works; publishing, approving or deleting published posts does not. The overview is under AI connector (MCP).

Disconnecting again

Two ways:

  • In Claude: remove the connector in the settings.
  • In maebe: an admin or owner takes the connector permission away again under Team → Members. On top of that, every connection ends when you change your password under Security and sign out all devices in the process.

If something doesn't work

  • Sign-in ends with "not available": the connector isn't enabled for you in any team. Ask your team admin or check your plan.
  • Claude can't find the server: make sure the address ends in /mcp.
  • Claude doesn't use the connector on its own: say so in the chat, for example "check in maebe".
