What the maebe AI does for you

An overview of where the AI supports you in maebe – and where it deliberately doesn't.

Approx. 2 min read

maebe has a built-in AI that takes work off your hands in several places – always as a helper that gives you a starting point, never as an autopilot that publishes something without being asked. You stay in control at all times.

Where the AI supports you

  • Writing captions – in the post editor it phrases, shortens or refines your post text at the press of a button. See Caption assistant.
  • Collecting campaign ideas – from a short briefing it produces a whole list of post ideas, complete with ready-made caption suggestions. See Campaign assistant.
  • Sounding like you – with a few writing samples it learns how you write and picks up your tone. See Brand voice & AI context.
  • Making sense of insights – it sums up your statistics in easy-to-understand sentences. See AI summary of your insights.

How the AI handles your data

Two things that give you peace of mind:

  • It thinks fresh on every request. The AI remembers nothing from one post to the next and doesn't secretly learn from your content – every request stands on its own.
  • It only uses performance data if you want it to. The caption and campaign assistants draw on your real numbers only if you have the Social Connect add-on and actively switch on the relevant option. By default they work without it.

Note: AI suggestions are always a draft, not a finished result. Read them through, adjust the facts and the tone – that's how your voice stays recognizable.

Not to be confused

The AI connector (MCP) is something different: it lets you connect an external AI chat (such as Claude or ChatGPT) to maebe. The AI described here, by contrast, is built straight into maebe.
