An empty calendar is the toughest moment in any planning tool. That's why, at the start, you'll find the card Your first three posts on your dashboard – a small task that takes you once through what maebe is for.
How it works
Plan three posts. A post counts as soon as it has both:
- an image or video and
- a date that lies in the future.
You can add the text later – it isn't needed for the task. It doesn't matter whether you create the posts yourself or someone on your team does: everything planned in your own teams counts. Planning ideas without media don't count yet, but they're a good start – once an image and a date are attached, they become a counting post.
The card shows three fields. A post you've started appears there with a note on what's still missing – one click takes you straight to the right place. A counted post stays counted, even if its date passes afterwards or you change it later.
One month of Pro on top
Once all three posts are set, maebe unlocks one month of Pro for you – automatically, without payment details and without anything to redeem. You'll get a short email about it. If your trial is still running, it's extended by that month.
After the month, your account continues on the free plan. Nothing is charged, your content stays, and you'll be reminded shortly before.
Good to know:
- The task runs for 14 days, from the moment you first see the card.
- It's available once per account, and only for accounts with a team of their own.
- If you already have a paid plan, you won't see the card.
- You can close the card anytime with Hide.
maebe reminds you
A date in the calendar only helps if you remember it. So maebe gets in touch on its own:
- About a day before, if a planned post is still missing its image or video – or its approval.
- Shortly before the date, once the post is approved.
Both arrive by email and – if you use the app – as a push notification. You can switch the reminders off in your notification settings.
