When your client opens the approval link, they land on their own clean page – no login, no maebe account, no clutter. Here they can review your post at their own pace and make their decision.
Viewing the post
At the very top sits the post just the way it'll go out later: image or video, caption, platform and the scheduled date. So your client sees exactly what they're deciding on – not raw data, but the finished preview.
If the post is protected with a PIN, they enter it once before they can approve.
Approving or rejecting
There are two clear paths:
- Approve – your client confirms with their PIN. The post then counts as signed off, and you see it right away in the editor.
- Reject – they send the post back, usually with a short note so you know what they'd like changed.
Commenting
Instead of just "yes" or "no", your client can also leave notes – right on the post. That way you collect feedback in one place, rather than piecing it together from emails and chats.
Making changes themselves – if you allow it
When you share, you decide how much your client can change directly themselves. Depending on the setting, they can:
- edit the caption and tweak the wording,
- move the date,
- adjust the image crop,
- upload their own media – such as a more fitting photo.
Everything they change comes back to you in the editor. When something is changed on a post after the fact, it usually has to be approved again – so no change slips through unnoticed.
Note: If you don't allow any changes, your client can only view, comment and approve or reject the post. That's often the fastest, clearest path.
