Already working with an AI chat like Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor? With the AI connector you link it directly to your maebe teams. After that, your usual chat knows your real project context – and you no longer have to switch back and forth between tools.
Behind the scenes there's an open standard called MCP (Model Context Protocol). For you it mainly means: connect once, then just ask in chat.
What you can do with it
Reading – asking questions:
- "What's coming up this week?" – your chat sees your planning calendar.
- "How did my last month go?" – your chat pulls the real numbers and sums them up.
- "Show me the posts that are still waiting for approval."
- "When should I post?" – your chat gets your best time slots including concrete date suggestions.
- "Why didn't my post go out?" – for direct publishing, your chat sees the status per platform and can explain errors in plain language.
- check what's going on in your projects, media pools, visuals and activity – and which platforms your team is connected to.
In your brand's voice:
- Your chat can pull your team's brand context and writing samples – so drafts sound like you, not like a generic AI.
Writing – preparing content:
- have new posts created as a draft or planning idea, and adjust existing drafts (title, caption & co.) – optionally with a scheduled date and cross-posting targets right away,
- submit a draft for client approval – or withdraw it again, as long as no one has approved yet,
- create and rename projects and media pools, and manage sub-pools (depending on your role in the team),
- attach an image to a draft via a link – your chat can pick it to match the post's target format.

Secure and in your hands
- Connected via login. You sign in once, securely – no keys to copy, no fiddly setup.
- You decide what's visible. When you connect, you choose which areas your AI client is allowed to see.
- Never more than you. The connector sees and can do exactly what you're already allowed to do in maebe – no more. Whatever your role in the team limits stays limited here too.
- Revocable any time. You cut a connection in your settings with one click – no support needed.
Note: Sensitive actions stay off the table by design. Your AI chat can prepare drafts and submit them for approval, but it doesn't publish anything, doesn't approve anything in your name, and doesn't delete projects or already-published posts. The actual approval always comes from a person – via the approval link or directly in maebe.
Requirements
The AI connector is a premium feature and is available from the Pro plan onwards. On top of that, a team admin enables access per member – so your team keeps control over who can connect maebe from the outside.
