Subscribing to your posts in your own calendar

Subscribe to your scheduled posts as a feed in Apple or Google Calendar – via an iCal link.

Approx. 2 min read

You plan your posts with target dates in maebe – and want to see them in your usual calendar at the same time? With the calendar subscription you bring your scheduled posts straight into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or any other app that understands calendar subscriptions.

What the subscription does

The calendar subscription is a feed: maebe provides your scheduled posts as calendar events, and your calendar app fetches them automatically. Move a date in maebe or add a new post, and your calendar updates by itself – you don't have to import anything again.

Note: The subscription goes one way. You see your maebe dates in your calendar, but changes in the calendar app don't flow back to maebe. Planning still happens in maebe.

How to get the subscription link

You'll find the subscription link in your team's calendar.

  1. Open your team's calendar view.
  2. Copy the subscription link provided there.

How many of these calendar links you have per team depends on your plan.

Adding the link to your calendar

You add the copied link to your calendar app as a new subscription:

  • Apple Calendar: File → "New Calendar Subscription" → paste the link.
  • Google Calendar: "Other calendars" → "From URL" → paste the link.

After that, your scheduled posts show up as events. Depending on the app, it can take a moment for changes to arrive – calendar subscriptions don't update every second, but at intervals.

Tip: Treat the subscription link like a password. Anyone who has it can see your scheduled dates – so only share it with people who are allowed to.
